Heading to Brazil to scope out what’s next for LCA

From June 17- 20, Quantis is hitting the road to join the 6th Brazilian Conference on Life Cycle Management (GCV 2018) in Brasilia, Brazil.

Supply chain management is moving full speed ahead and businesses are increasingly looking to life cycle assessment (LCA) to inform key decision-making. During this four-day event, Quantis will be presenting and attending sessions exploring the emerging trends and advancements in LCA that are set to sweeten the business case for embracing the methodology.

Quantis Senior Sustainability Consultant Simon Gmünder will be presenting at the event, sharing expert insights on eco-design, sustainability in tourism and on the Land Use Change Guidance.

Organized by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT) this year’s conference is centered around the theme “Management of Technological Information for Sustainability.” Buzzy topics expected to generate debate during the four-day symposium include land-use change, eco-design, circular economy, environmental labeling and life cycle inventories.
